Experience & Activities

Born to a family of 3rd generation businessmen in Mumbai, India, Farrah’s felt very comfortable with numbers from a young age and so studied commerce, economics, and accounting. She moved to the States to attend DeVry Technical Institute for Computer Programming in Dallas, TX. There she met James, became best friends and married. Working for some big names like The Associates, CitiBank, and Accenture she worked from the bottom up as credit card phone agent, to supervisor, then to programmer analyst and project manager and finally to program manager. Farrah, has managed more than 100 projects scaling from $250 websites for small businesses to multi million dollar international projects gaining her respect across industries and borders.

Though as a child, organization was a skill that she sorely lacked, this is something she has not only overcome but excels at today.  Her experience as a program manager allowed her to not only work on large scale projects that spanned applications, vendors, teams, and countries, but also carefully plan life changes.

Over the last few years, Farrah has focused on working with smaller businesses to give them a leg up in establishing a sound foundation during their formative years.  Not every business can afford high priced strategists and that’s where Farrah’s flexibility and vast skill sets are valuable.  She has worked with several businesses by melding into their organizational team and working with them till a proper business process has been established or until the business is thriving to the point of bringing on a full time resource to transition that work to.  This approach has proven extremely beneficial to the business and at the same time gives Farrah a new challenge and opportunity to learn and grow which is exactly what she loves.
